The first vinyl wrapped Boxed Art for the city was unveiled on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. The art themed box is located at the intersection of Wallior and Landry and Vine Streets and features artwork by local artist Jerome Ford. This was the first of twelve (12) boxes targeted for installation as part of the Boxed Art project, one of the scheduled activities in conjunction with Celebrate Opelousas 300. The concept behind the project is to transform ordinary metal traffic boxes into creative canvases.
